Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and organize perishable goods in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse management systems
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts with digital scanners
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FSMA safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records for temperature logs and quality checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Participate in monthly safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy with inventory software experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends during peak seasons
