Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated equipment following OSHA standards
- Perform inventory management using WMS systems and barcode scanning technology
- Execute FIFO rotation protocols and quality control inspections
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using proper material handling techniques
- Adhere to HACCP safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy with inventory software experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
