Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to organize/rotate inventory with precision
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and safety protocol compliance checks
- Pack, label, and track temperature-controlled inventory using WMS systems
- Sanitize storage facilities following HACCP standards
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 6+ months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete training
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
