Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move refrigerated products (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Maintain precise temperature logs and monitor humidity controls for compliance
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation protocols in multi-zone cold rooms
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas using food-grade cleaning solutions
- Operate automated inventory management systems with barcode scanning
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards for cold environments
Qualifications
- 6+ months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in 0-40°F environments
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours with anti-slip footwear
- Pass background check and drug screening
