Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature-controlled environment protocols for perishable goods
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated warehouse settings
- Execute inventory management systems with barcode scanning technology
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety regulations for cold storage facilities
- Coordinate loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks and dock scheduling
- Conduct routine quality checks on stored products
- Document warehouse activities using digital tracking systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse environment
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for warehouse management systems
