Responsibilities
- Maintain precise inventory control in refrigerated (-10°F to 40°F) and frozen (-20°F) storage zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks and reach trucks in cold environments with zero-tolerance safety standards
- Execute quality control checks and documentation for perishable goods handling
- Coordinate cross-functional team for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA protocols for food safety compliance
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and temperature monitoring
- Train new associates on cold storage safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification with recent experience in cold environments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management
- Flexible availability including weekends and overnight shifts
