Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock rotation systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and prepare products for storage according to quality standards
- Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols in cold storage facilities
- Collaborate with team members for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions
- Complete daily shift reports and documentation tasks
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
