Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate inventory records in cold storage environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP standards)
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and report deviations
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
