Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks in strict accordance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, organize warehouse aisles, and ensure accurate inventory records through scanning and logging.
- Temperature Control: Regularly inspect and document temperature logs in the cold storage units to ensure product integrity and compliance.
- Packaging: Properly package, label, and prepare goods for shipping and distribution.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a cold environment.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid ID: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
