Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F) with strict temperature monitoring protocols
- Manage inventory control systems using RF scanners and remote WMS portals
- Safely handle perishable goods including frozen foods, pharmaceuticals, and biologics
- Conduct daily equipment inspections (forklifts, pallet jacks) and report maintenance needs
- Maintain HACCP compliance documentation through digital platforms
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics via remote communication tools
- Implement OSHA safety standards in warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong digital communication skills for remote collaboration
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
