- Monitor and maintain cold storage facility temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated shipments
- Conduct inventory audits using barcode scanning technology with remote reporting capabilities
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in temperature-controlled environments
- Collaborate with logistics team via remote scheduling tools for efficient dock operations
- Maintain digital records of product handling and temperature logs
- Participate in monthly remote training sessions for safety and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse environments
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with remote data entry capabilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to Fort Worth facility (3 days/week on-site)
