Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory efficiently
- Inspect and record product quality upon receipt and storage
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Rotate stock using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory methods
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
- Complete daily temperature logs and equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
