Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in -20°F to 45°F zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems with precision
- Inspect incoming/outgoing perishable goods for quality compliance
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and safety protocols
- Train new staff on cold safety procedures and equipment operation
- Coordinate with logistics teams for seamless supply chain integration
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- 2+ years of cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and FDA food safety standards
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
