Responsibilities
- Manage daily cold storage operations including inventory rotation and quality control
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in temperature-controlled environments
- Monitor refrigeration systems and report maintenance needs
- Train and supervise 5-7 warehouse staff on safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely loading/unloading of perishable goods
- Maintain accurate temperature logs and warehouse documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Ability to work in sub-freezing environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
