Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Inspect and operate refrigeration equipment (coolers, freezers) for proper functionality
- Load/unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety protocols (HACCP standards)
- Perform inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team to ensure efficient product flow and storage rotation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F) for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
