Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment for optimal performance
- Manage inventory using WMS systems and barcode scanning technology
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety protocols (HACCP standards)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with temperature-sensitive products
- Document temperature logs and inventory movements accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
