Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload temperature-controlled shipments
- Conduct daily inventory audits using WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Implement strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols across all operations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient product rotation and FIFO compliance
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units and warehouse equipment
- Document temperature logs and quality control reports in compliance with FDA regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or temperature-controlled warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and pallet jack operation skills
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder)
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management capabilities
- Forklift certification required (will provide training if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hour shifts
