Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Maintain precise temperature logs and quality control documentation
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using proper handling techniques
- Perform inventory audits and cycle counts in cold storage zones
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and HACCP protocols
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely shipments
- Train new hires on cold storage procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly in cold environments
- Strong attention to detail for inventory management
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
