Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize inventory according to FIFO protocols and safety standards
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety regulations
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and document readings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Reliable transportation to industrial corridor location
