Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Perform inventory counts using WMS systems and barcode scanners
- Ensure strict adherence to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks with proper FIFO rotation
- Maintain detailed logs for temperature deviations and equipment checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy and WMS experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to complete)
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Valid California driver's license
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
