Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature protocols in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate temperature-controlled material handling equipment safely
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions in cold environments
- Manage inventory rotation using FIFO methods in climate-controlled spaces
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA standards for cold storage facilities
- Perform sanitation protocols for equipment and work surfaces
- Coordinate with quality control teams for temperature compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid OSHA-compliant cold weather gear certification
- Ability to work in environments as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly in cold conditions
