Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks while maintaining temperature integrity
- Monitor and record warehouse temperatures, humidity levels, and equipment status
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable products
- Maintain organized inventory using WMS systems and FIFO protocols
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and HACCP compliance procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
