Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems for temperature-sensitive products
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of storage facilities and equipment
- Implement HACCP and OSHA safety standards in daily operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient product movement
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, FDA)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
