Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move refrigerated products within -10°F to 40°F environments
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels using digital monitoring systems
- Prioritize FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory rotation protocols
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold storage operations
- Assist with quality control checks and product segregation procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (or willingness to complete company training)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
