Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Inspect, sort, and organize perishable inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Conduct quality control checks and report inventory discrepancies
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and food safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members on loading/unloading shipments
- Complete digital inventory logs and reports via remote portal
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or ability to pass training
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
