Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Inspect and maintain temperature-controlled inventory rotation systems
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using proper cold-chain protocols
- Sanitize equipment and facilities following HACCP guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels using WMS technology
- Complete daily safety inspections and quality control logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods
- Basic forklift certification or willingness to obtain (paid training)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid driver's license preferred
- 1+ years warehouse experience preferred but not required
