Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine inventory counts and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety protocols during all handling procedures
- Operate cold storage equipment (pallet jacks, conveyors, blast freezers)
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Commitment to OSHA safety standards and PPE compliance
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
