Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move refrigerated products
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Load/unload trucks while monitoring temperature compliance
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods
- Sanitize equipment and workspaces per FDA standards
- Assist with monthly cycle counts and audits
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 40°F-50°F environments for extended periods
- Valid driver's license (forklift certification provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to warehouse location
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- No prior cold storage experience required
