Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks: Safely handle pallets and cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Inventory Management: Pick, pack, and verify orders with high accuracy and efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure strict compliance with food safety and safety regulations.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or cold storage facility is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
