Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO protocols
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Load/unload shipments with temperature monitoring
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance checks
- Document inventory movements in digital tracking systems
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (4-8 hour shifts)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to 7890 Frost Drive, Raleigh
- OSHA 10-hour certification (provided if needed)
- Attention to detail for quality control
- Flexible availability including weekends
