Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature controls (-20°F to 45°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Inspect and organize inventory using WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA compliance protocols for food safety
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and sanitation checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs in real-time
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards and HACCP principles
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid NJ driver's license preferred
