Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels using digital sensors
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment (coolers, freezers, compressors)
- Prioritize FIFO inventory rotation and stock rotation protocols
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and HACCP food safety guidelines
- Load/unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Complete daily inspection reports and inventory logs
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Reliable transportation to our 24/7 facility
- No prior cold storage experience required (training provided)
