Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature control in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move temperature-sensitive products
- Execute inventory management tasks using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet operational targets
- Document inventory movements and quality control metrics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6+ months of cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments (-20°F to 40°F)
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
