Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas using digital monitoring systems
- Inspect, load, and unload temperature-controlled shipments while adhering to strict food safety protocols
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine facility inspections and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software
- Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation procedures for cold storage environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cold storage, warehousing, or refrigerated logistics
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods (4°C to -18°C)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
