Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal cold storage temperatures in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct regular inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for cold environment operations
- Operate temperature monitoring equipment and document readings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet shipping/receiving targets
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (paid training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license required
