Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) and humidity controls in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment
- Inspect and document product integrity during loading/unloading cycles
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Coordinate inventory management using RF scanning systems
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics flow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to complete training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments with proper PPE
