Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures in refrigerated zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory counts and stock rotation in cold storage areas
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and report deviations immediately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all cold storage zones
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
