Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in cold storage units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and barcode systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Operate power pallets and reach trucks in confined spaces
- Perform routine sanitation of equipment and storage areas
- Document temperature logs and shipment records accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
