Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-20°F to 45°F) in refrigerated/freezer units using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory audits with RF scanners and WMS software
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Operate automated racking systems and cross-dock equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on cooling systems
- Train new hires on cold storage procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software
- OSHA 10 or equivalent safety certification
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
