Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load, unload, and organize perishable inventory using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming/outgoing products
- Operate warehouse equipment in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging -10°F to 40°F
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
- Valid California driver's license a plus
