Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely
- Inspect and record warehouse conditions using digital monitoring systems
- Load/unload trucks while adhering to FIFO inventory protocols
- Sanitize storage facilities and equipment using food-grade cleaning agents
- Collaborate with quality control team on product integrity checks
- Participate in safety drills and maintain OSHA compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible schedule availability including nights/weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
