Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in blast freezers and coolers
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment following OSHA standards
- Conduct daily sanitation and hygiene checks to meet FDA/USDA compliance
- Rotate inventory using FIFO methods to prevent spoilage
- Document temperature logs and inventory counts using warehouse management software
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Valid driver's license or forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to North Philadelphia facility
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
