Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated warehouses
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inspections of cold storage equipment and report malfunctions
- Organize inventory rotation using FIFO methods to ensure product freshness
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and log environmental data
- Collaborate with quality control teams on product handling procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Ability to work in 32°F (0°C) environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification and valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
