Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-20°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer environments
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move inventory safely
- Conduct quality checks and inventory audits using digital tracking systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all operations
- Collaborate with remote team members via digital communication tools for inventory updates
- Prepare shipments with proper labeling and documentation
- Participate in regular equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Proficient with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable using remote communication platforms (Slack, Teams)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
