Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Inspect and maintain product integrity in controlled environments (-20°F to 40°F zones)
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Manage inventory rotation using FIFO methods in refrigerated and frozen sections
- Perform routine sanitation of equipment and storage areas
- Document temperature logs and inventory counts using digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company-sponsored certification
- Strong attention to detail for inventory management
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
