Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely in cold environments
- Inspect/rotate inventory to prevent spoilage and waste
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload trucks efficiently in temperature-controlled docks
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (days/evenings/weekends)
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience a plus
