Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in cold storage units
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory audits and accurate record-keeping
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate refrigeration systems and troubleshoot minor issues
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
