Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Supervise and train warehouse staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Implement lean principles to optimize space utilization and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless material flow and dock scheduling
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and coordinate repairs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience in fast-paced environments
- OSHA certification and strong knowledge of safety protocols
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated material handling equipment
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
