Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and sort incoming/outgoing perishable goods for quality compliance
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Monitor temperature logs and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
- Train on HACCP and FDA cold chain regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid state driver's license (forklift certification a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
