Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated facilities (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA compliance standards
- Perform sanitation protocols for equipment and storage areas
- Collaborate with team to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends based on operational needs
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
